8 x 10 Limited Edition of 25 Induction Style Card – Postmarked on Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Day (Sunday) July 28, 2013. Gehrig was elected to the Hall on December 7, 1939. The next election was not scheduled until 1942 because the original intent was to have an induction every three years. The 1942 election which would have included both Gehrig and Rogers Hornsby did not happen because of WW2. They were both officially recognized at the 2013 induction ceremony.
